Hate your Job | Quit or Change Your Attitude

Whether you’re working your first job in high school or as a college graduate, attitude is going to be a key factor for your success. As you will find out or have already found out, the world is full of negative people. Don’t fall for their trap.

When you find yourself in this situation, you’re going to have 1 of 2 choices, quit or change your attitude. There will be times that you need to look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself,

“Am I being the best version of myself?”

“Am I Happy?”

“Do I need to change?”

Being that you’re on the younger side, you will be working with older people who are either going to do 1 of 2 things:

1)Help and respect you

2)Hurt and disrespect you

It’s crazy to think that people are out to do harm to other people, it’s not on purpose, but since we’re in the information age, negativity consumes most people throughout their days. Perhaps you’re spending too much time on social media looking at images that have been created to make you feel inadequate. Maybe you’re watching the news, which is full of stories that are engineered to make you angry.

The simple truth is,

“It’s easier to sell evil then it’s easier to sell righteousness.”

Don’t believe me? Just look at the world around us…Social media platforms will post pictures of unrealistic photoshopped “models” that lowers our self-esteem. Athletes are paid millions of dollars to play a game that anyone has the ability to pay and are looked onto as “role-models.”

Yet, Mother Theresa and Mahatma Gandhi aren’t many people’s heroes. We value fame and fortune over morality and integrity. This is why most people in America are unhappy and will never reach their 100% potential.

Fame and fortune is not a goal, it’s a result. If you want to truly find a way to make your dreams come true, then find a way to help people do things they find impossible, so that you can change their lives forever.

Happy Slacking,
