Build Your Dream Team | 2 > 1

From sports to sitcoms, everything we have in society is built around a dream team. When it comes to making your dreams come to fruition, you’re going to need to find people to join you on your journey. In order to find the right people to join you, your vision needs to be extremely clear.

Without having a vision, your production will suffer, your audience will not grow, and you will not be able to find people to unite with. Now, at the beginning of any adventure, there are only a few travelers. If you are to look at a chart of innovation adoption lifecycle, people fall into 5 categories (https://www.organimi.com/org-charts-and-innovation-adopting-adaptive-organizational-designs/).

1) Innovators

2) Early Adopters

3) Early Majority

4) Late Majority

5) Laggards

Whether you’re starting your first job or building a business, people are going to follow you in the same sort of style. You’re going to have a few followers on social media, then after people see your serious you’ll attract more of an audience, and then if you’re really passionate, you can fall into the Tony Robbins or Oprah Winfrey category.

It’s much better to have a small portion of a watermelon than 100% of a grape when it comes to business.

If you’re utilizing a “lone wolf” strategy, then you’re never going to get where you want to be. This mind-knot is what keeps people from reaching their maximum potential. Now, working with people is never going to be perfect.

People are going to disappoint you, people are going to lie to you, and people may even steal from you.

But, an individual person is smart, trustworthy, and valuable…

Invest your time into a person’s interests, find where your views intersect, and then you can watch your vision come to life.  Nothing worth doing is easy, but that’s the point. So, when you find yourself feeling overwhelmed, tired, and unrewarded. You should know that you’re on the right path.

Happy Slacking,
Joshua Krafchick, AKA “CHACHI”
